PIER 51

£75.00

Limited edition, hand pulled linocut print.

Based on a photograph by Shelley Seccombe entitled Sunbathers, Pier 51 (1977) depicting the derelict NYC piers along the Hudson River and how they served as meeting places for gay men in the 1970s and 80s. I love her work and used this piece as a starting point for my print, abstracting the colours and adding textures to create a unique print.

The reduction print technique used here means this is a strictly limited edition of ten prints.
